Hunting debris in space
Thousands of satellites in space mean plenty of junk. The failed satellites and individual pieces of debris, some of which have been orbiting the earth for centuries, can become dangerous projectiles. EPFL start-up ClearSpace is developing artificial intelligence-based technology that can approach and collect this debris.
